We had so much fun at Emerald Park. Pupils had so much fun! 

What a way to end the school year with a pizza party to celebrate the AR reading targets! Congratulations to all the children for achieving their targets!  

We had a fantastic day having our joint Sports Days with Drumeela NS in Carrigallen GAA pitch. An ice cream van even popped in with some cones and slushies!  

Congratulations to all the pupils on achieving the Gold Award for Curious Minds!

Congratulations to the boys and girls in Newtowngore on winning the cup! We are so proud of you all. Thanks to the coaches and supporters! See below some pictures from our celebration!  

Children really enjoyed their Bike Day event! Pupils learned about bike safety and played lots of different games while improving their cycle skills. 

Many thanks to David from Water Safety Ireland delivering a Water Safety class to all the children. He taught us how to be safe in water and also how to throw a ring buoy.

We were so lucky to host Heritage in Schools Specialist Ann with us in Newtowngore for 5 different workshops. Ann helped us discover lots about Newtowngore and what life would have been like in the past. The senior room completed a project on Newtowngore.
