Newtowngore NS won a free session with Fusion Dance School Cavan. It was amazing to see what pupils could learn in one session.

This month the junior room visited The Hospital. The pupils loved this theme and had so much fun learning all about The Hospital. Pupils have also been busy with their beautiful winter art.

We were delighted to get a chance to do some baking activities again. Some of the 6th class boys chose to bake a chocolate cake. The boys chose recipe, arranged ingredients, baked the cake, shared out the cake with all pupils and washed up. Everyone agreed it was delicious. Well done boys!  

  We had lots of fun celebrating Science Week. The junior room had lots of fun with different experiments. Have a look at the photos to see the fun the juniors had making slime! The senior room spent all week working as engineers as part of the STEPS project. (See post STEPS).  

We had so much fun in W5,Belfast today as part of Science Week with Greaghrahan NS. Fizz, bang, pop was the name of our workshop. Pupils completed many experiments. Pupils had so much fun experiencing the Virtual Reality Headsets as part of our Shared Education Days with Greaghrahan NS. We had the chance to experience Rollercoasters, Visit Football Stadiums, Haunted Houses and famous cities and natural features.

Lots of fun celebrating Hallowe’en in Newtowngore NS and in Greaghrahan NS as part of the Shared Education Days.
