On the 2nd Tuesday of the 2nd month every year, Safer Internet is celebrated in the EU. The purpose of this initiative is to promote a safer internet for all users. Seniors discussed the golden rules of the internet and juniors created posters from a story all about safety on the internet.
The final group of pupils from the Senior Room got the chance to choose and bake what they wanted. Pupils found a recipe, organised and brought in the ingredients and baked some delicious chocolate chip cookies for the whole school.
The Junior Room transformed their Role-Play corner into The Market. Pupils completed lots of activities while having so much fun!
The children really enjoyed their visit from the Geopark specialists. They brought a range of Mammals and talked to the children about the animals found in the Geopark. They also talked about fossils and rocks found in Newtowngore.
We had a surprise visit from the Creature Crew as a treat on the last day of school before the Christmas holidays. We met lots of different animals including a parrot, tortoise, cornsnakes, rats, an 11ft python, an owl and a dog. Thank you so much to Creature Crew for visiting us. … Read More »
We had very special visitors to our school this week. Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and Fionn Claus came for a visit to see all the children in school. Thankfully we were all on the good list. Even some of the parents managed to make to good list!
We were delighted to have a packed hall to perform our Christmas Play. Pupils did an amazing job and it was enjoyed by everyone!
