French Toast

This week we had French Toast with honey, raspberries and blueberries. It was absolutely delicious!!  Thanks girls!

NATIONAL ART WINNER!!

We are so proud of one of the pupils in the junior room who has won the  Nearby National Colouring Competition! She won a voucher for herself and also money for the school! Huge congratulations!!

Feel Good Friday

A small group from of 5th& 6th class pupils were busy baking delicious buns for the whole school. Next Friday, another group will take on the challenge of another recipe!

The Famine

The senior classroom have been busy finding out all about The Great Famine back in the 1840s. They completed these impressive charcoal drawings as part of their History project.

Home Corner The junior room have been busy in the home corner, construction area and creative design area. They also made some lovely houses inspired by the 3 Little Pigs.

New School Year

School Year 2022-2023 Welcome back to another exciting school year and a very special welcome to our new Junior Infants. We also would like to welcome the new staff that have joined us this year. Thank you to the painters for making such a beautiful job of the painting of our school building outside. 

Senior Room Trip

We set off for Tanagh Outdoor Centre in Cootehill on a glorious summer’s day. We were truly blessed with the weather. Junior Room School Tour

The junior room visited Killinkere Pet Farm for their tour this year. Children had so much fun feeding the animals, riding a pony, playing in the sand and playground and holding some of the animals. Raising our Amber Flag

We were delighted to receive recognition for all the activities we organised to improve the Well-Being of our School Community. Many thanks to Mrs O’Neill Chambers, Well-Being Co-ordinator for improving the Well-Being in Newtowngore NS. The present student council had the honour of raising the Amber Flag received from Pieta House.
